We wanted to say thank you to all the people who have been a part of our fundraising journey. Many different churches and individuals have joined us in this call, supporting us financially or through prayer.
Our time leading up to the trip to Palo Alto is nearing its end. Soon we will be packing for another major life change.
We have been around for the beginning stages of a group of MVNU grads putting a dream onto reality here at Brick Coffee Co. (www.Brickcoffee.co). We’re proud that the team will be able to carry the dream on into the future, creating a true business and ministry model.
We have learned what finding and working at real jobs in the post-college world is like. We’ve learned a lot about ourselves, about each other, and about our faith. It’s been a challenge, but we have learned a lot. We have completed our first seminary classes and traveled a lot doing support-raising.
We’re grateful for each person who has stepped into our lives during this time. The Kingdom is everywhere, and God’s people are amazing.
We have achieved about 2/3 of our initial fundraising goal amount, which is incredible in a few months!
We are learning what it looks like to trust and work hard along the path we are following at the same time. We are only a small part of a larger story, and we’re trying to learn our place as time progresses. We are thankful that all of you have chosen to participate in this story as well. Without supporters coming alongside us, we couldn’t do this.
At the end of this month we will be heading to Nazarene Theological Seminary for a few days of training, then driving to stay a night at Southern Nazarene University, a day in New Mexico, a day in Arizona, and one in Southeast California. From there we will head into Palo Alto, arriving the first week of February. We are excited to starting this new time in our lives, and to figure out what impact this time will have on us and on our context in Palo Alto.
As always, we would love to hear from you. If you have any questions or thoughts please feel free to reach out to us. We’d love to talk.
Paul and Elizabeth
